Musical Fundraiser For Tyhoon Haiyan Victims
Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur will be collaborating with Mercatus+ Malaysia, a multi award-winning brand communications agency to promote and raise funds for the victims of the recent Typhoon Haiyan tragedy in Philippines.
The event will be held on Sunday, 8 December 2013, at Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur from 6 to 10.30pm with various activities lined up including the auction of Hard Rock merchandises and performances by local rock bands to raise funds.
“Hard Rock has always been committed to a wide variety of philanthropic causes and activities around the world, and we saw the need to support the Philippines, which is the core objective of this event. Funds raised from this event will be channeled to the victims through the Malaysian Red Crescent Society. We strongly urge for participation from the public to provide a helping hand for the victims,” said Nor Esah Abdul Ghani, Marketing Manager of Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur.
The event will auction Hard Rock apparels including the ladies white classic t-shirt, ladies wood panel tee, adult cross guitar t-shirt, young male 22nd anniversary t-shirt, and the junior Fuchsia polo, amongst others. Eight local bands have also volunteered to perform during the charity showcase in support of the cause. All proceeds from the cover charge of RM40 will also go towards the fund.
“Mercatus+ has always been a strong supporter of the arts.
