A-Minor – Someone You Love ft. Ruby Wood
A-Minor is Amin Hamzianpour, a 25 year-old London-based Songwriter/Producer and Someone You Love is his next single out via Ministry of Sound early 2015. Although somewhat new to the scene, A-Minor actually began a few years ago uploading beat making tutorials to YouTube. Spurred on by the reaction to his videos he began readying debut material for the world to hear.
His debut single ‘Thinking Bout The Things’ appeared online in July 2013 and immediately found support from the likes of disco naïveté, EARMILK and Hilly Dilly ensuring a record label bidding war for the rights to the track (which Spinnin’ Records won). Now just over a year later and readying his second single ‘Be Mine’ (out next year via Ministry of Sound), he’s warming people up with a brand new free download entitled ‘Someone You Love’.
A-Minor: “Ruby Wood (of Submotion Orchestra) and I actually wrote this in the first session we had together. I had some basic chords laid down and it was just one of those songs that came to us very quickly and was a lot of fun to write. She has such a sultry tone and it just made sense to capture that vibe on the track. That’s probably why the production ended up being a bit different to most of the stuff I’ve put out because I wanted to stay true to her vocal.”
