Guru Josh Dies At The Age of 51, Cause of Death Was Unclear
Dance music Guru Josh, whose real name was Paul Walden, has died at the aged of 51 on Monday. Walden was popular with his 90s biggest hit “Infinity” in the Britain. The song was played frequently at the most influential nightclub in the country.
Infinity, has became the anthem song in Manchester’s clubbing scene. It crossed over the UK pop charts, reached No.5 in February 1990.
Walden was born in Jersey, studied dentristry and then had a spell in the US before moving to London in the late 1980s, where he worked as a booking agent and played pub gigs with his band, Joshua Cries Wolf.
In 2008, the classic dance Inifnity was remixed and re-released which became a big hit in dance clubs around the globe and sold some 6 million copies according to Walden.
