Having insomnia and not able to sleep well at night? Check out my way that might help you fall asleep easier. Yes a good night sleep without any distraction or disturbance. After having 5 way to sleep better at night, now is time to find out additional 5 easiest way to fall asleep! I’m sure you cut down nightmares, lucid dreams etc that affecting your sleep and waking up you in middle of the night. You will find out yourself waking up healthier and more energetic than before.
It’s a healthy lifestyle, get enough sleep, at least 8 hours sleep so you don’t snore and disturb your partner, you tired, you snore.
Rain Sound App
Rain sound is my favorite sleep therapy method. Just download any rain sound app on Google Play Store, get an earphone (works perfectly actually!), you will get discomfort from using headphone on bed. Play the rain sound, set timer at least 1 – 2 hours. I’m sure you eventually find yourself fall asleep faster than before! Rain Sounds HD really a great app, it comes with 7 different rain sound effects, Ambient Rain, Cabin Storms, Calm Thunder, Concrete Drips, Driving Storm and Evening Showers. Cabin Storms & Driving Storms works great on me. How about you?
Make sure no hard-hitting EDM party music, relaxing music like jazz & blues works fine. Best get an earphone as you will only focus on listening to relaxing music and not ambient / surrounding sound like car passing by, dog barking, birth chirping etc that might distraction you from getting a good night sleep.
No Other Activities
Never put laptop, books or electronic gadgets beside your pillow or lamp table. Your bed only for sleep and other activities.. *ahem* you knows.
Drink warm milk do helps in sleeping easier, but not too much, you will wake up in middle of the night and go for a pee-pee. Experienced.
Say No To Caffeine
No caffeine, no alcohol, no drinking any liquid before sleep. Make sure you drink before 2 hours and empty your bladder before sleep so it won’t disrupt you sleep will full bladder.
Now here are steps for easiest way to fall asleep!
1) No drinking liquid before sleep
2) Prepare yourself for sleep – take a hot bath, brush teeth, wash face but make sure let your hair dry before sleep!
3) Hook up your earphone, play Rain Sound app, set timer (it is okay to put mobile phone beside pillow), adjust volume to 55% and Voilà!
4) Sleep till next morning!
