Jonas Blue 1st Time Ever in Malaysia!
All the way from Essex, England – the music genius behind an all-time charting song ‘Mama’ visited Malaysia for the very first time last Saturday, April 21st 2018. Jonas Blue is known for his amazing remix skills, which feature blends of dance music with pop sensibilities. With more than 2 billion Spotify streams, this multi-platinum-selling hitmaker has taken the music industry by storm. His cleverly crafted dance/pop sensibilities have received critical acclaim, across his four
singles, including ‘Mama’, which topped many global charts.
With Blue’s ability to capture the mainstream music lovers from all over the country, his show at Zouk Club KL was packed with many enthusiasts who were excited for his set to start. When he took over the DJ set, the crowd went wild. You could hear people cheering and singing along to his opening song – ‘Perfect Strangers’, which was definitely no stranger to almost all who were present in Zouk Mainroom.
Swedish DJ and musician Tim Bergling, better known as Avicii, has unexpectedly passed away at the age of 28 last week on April 20th 2018. His untimely death has sent shockwaves through the music industry. This EDM legend found worldwide success with tracks like ‘Levels’, before retiring from touring in 2016, citing health reasons. Fans at Zouk Club KL were all in awe when Jonas Blue paid his respects and did a tribute to Avicii that night. Everyone sang along while remembering Avicii as Blue played a few of his most memorable songs like ‘Wake Me Up’ and ‘Heroes’; even Zouk Mainroom’s LED panels arrayed an ensemble of pickup shots from the late musician’s portraits when he once performed at Zouk during his up and coming years.
Jonas Blue put up such a mesmerizing show that his fans were raving for more that night. He didn’t fail to deliver and extended his set, finally ending it with his peak charting favorite single ‘Mama’. Needless to say, the crowd was ecstatic. Saturday night ended with a high note, and that would definitely be one to remember.
