Lets take a glance on the new home for Zouk KL relocation at TREC Kuala Lumpur. One of the biggest entertainment hub ever built. Zouk goes really big this time, with space of 60,000 sq will be the first and most expensive dance club ever built in Malaysia.
The new Zouk KL at TREC comprises several clubs; a VIP bar lounge; a member’s lounge; a café and a rooftop deck overlooking the expansive views of the Royal Selangor Golf Club. Zouk KL will also offer a dedicated VIP concierge service.
The five zones of TREC, each featuring a unique theme, will offer casual and fine dining, indie cafes, wine bars, pubs and lounges, with the aim of attracting a diverse demographic of tourists and locals.
TREC is the brainchild of Cher Ng, co-founder and executive director of Zouk KL. The idea of TREC came about by virtue of Zouk KL’s plan to relocate two years ago. TREC is a joint venture between Ng, Malaysian entrepreneur Dato’ Douglas Cheng and public-listed Berjaya Assets Berhad.
TREC is proposed to feature a vibrant district rivaling the likes of Hong Kong’s renowned Lan Kwai Fong district and Shanghai’s famous “Xin Tian Di”.
The superclub will also launch its interim website – a preamble to its anticipated opening this year. More details of Zouk KL will be announced next month.
